Executive Function Coaching

While many students need help with challenging content, others may need more support with foundational study skills, executive functioning, and organization.  We offer personalized tutoring to develop those crucial skills, including help creating and implementing systems for academic organization.

Students have trouble with their academic workloads for a variety of reasons: they may lack motivation, struggle to get organized, or have difficulty setting aside time for schoolwork. Oftentimes, students can feel that they do not know how to start assignments or have fallen behind and do not know how to catch up.  Many students who struggle with executive functioning may feel at odds with their parents and/or teachers.

We are able to meet students where they are in their own individual educational journeys and help them to set realistic goals so that they can regain confidence and develop a more positive relationship with academics. Our tutors recognize that students deal with stress and distractions every day; our goal is to foster life skills that enable students to manage their stressors and minimize distractions so that they can be successful in academics and beyond.

Study Smarter has extensive experience coaching students who have formal IEPs or 504s as well as those who do not. Please contact us for more information.
